Kvamme Associates as the Conference Chair together with organizers ØKOKRIM, Transparency International Norway and Advokatfirmaet Selmer, are very proud to welcome all to the 7th Oslo Anti-Corruption Conference, the hallmark event for the Anti-Corruption community in Norway.
The main conference takes place June 10, the National Day, and June 11, the International Day. This year we are introducing a new established Preconference Day June 9.
This year through the digital concept, we are also inviting the international community to join us. We are bringing together government enforcement representatives, practitioners, and subject matter experts to discuss trends and new preventive initiatives on an operational basis with participants working in the field of anti-corruption from both the public, private and civil society sector.
During the conferences, we have focused on the situation in countries that are relevant for business operations by Norwegian companies. At this year's conference, we will take a closer look at the situation in Ukraine and the challenges that Norwegian companies with operations in the country, are facing.
We are very pleased to present many renowned national and international speakers with opening keynotes from Norway´s Minister of Justice and Public Security, Monica Mæland and the ØKOKRIM director, Pål Lønseth, as well as leaders of the authorities' efforts against corruption in the USA, UK and Ukraine. We are very proud of Daniel Kahn, Acting Chief, US Department of Justice, Fraud Section, returning to the conference as well as SFO UK introducing Sara Lawson QC, General Counsel. We are also very glad to introduce to the conference the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Mr. Artem Sytnyk.
At the Preconference Day, we are presenting two different insight stories focusing on lessons learned and how incidents with serious consequences for both involved organisations and individuals could happen and reflections on how they could have been avoided in a compliance, transparency, and integrity context.
